Link Teams to Goal or Meeting

We’ve revamped our User Groups feature to be more powerful as Teams.

Once created, Teams can be linked to Meetings and Goals for easier participant management and viewing of the team's goals in meetings.

Getting Started

Teams can be viewed and created through the "People" tab->Teams. For more information on creating a team, check out this article.

Who can link a Team?

Meetings: Only the meeting host/creator can link to a Team. Teams will be displayed in the drop-down as long as the host is a member or owner of the Team.

Goals: Only the creator of the goal can link a team to the goal. Ownership of teams can be updated to include additional owners at any time.

NOTE: Teams are not connected to Departments in a user's profile. While you can create a team for a department, they are not automatically created or maintained.

Public vs Private Teams

Admins can create Public Teams that are visible to your entire org. All users can create Private Teams which are visible only to members of the team.

Calendar Meetings

When importing a Team Meeting into Leadr you (the meeting host) can link the meeting to a Team. Note, you can only link to a team you are a member of.

Meetings in Leadr

When scheduling a meeting through Leadr, hosts can link to a Team that they are a part of. Proceed with creating the meeting normally, then use the link team drop-down.

Existing Meetings

As the host, you can link teams to a meeting that already exists in Leadr. Use the three vertical dots then select "Link to a Team"

A step-by-step guide to creating and managing goals is available here

Team Goals

Linking a team goal can be accomplished while creating the goal. Select the Team from the drop-down and the Goal will begin to pull into corresponding Team Meetings.

Ownership of teams can be updated to include additional owners at any time.

Linking a Team to Goal places all Team Members as Viewers of the Goal

Next Steps

With your Team created and linked to the Goal and Team Meetings, you and your team can access those goals within your meeting as well as collaborate on the Goal through the Goals Tab->Team Goals.

Leadr Advantage

Leadr Advantage users can choose to add an objective to each Team Goal. Those objectives will pull into associated Team Meetings as Defining or Standard Operating Objectives.
