Create and Manage Goals in Leadr
Aligning your team around the top priorities is critical for success, but currently only around 50% of employees would “strongly agree” they know what’s expected of them at work. Setting clear goals can help with that!
In this article:
Goal Types
There are 3 types of Goals within Leadr: Personal, Team, and Organizational. Each of these Goal types have different functions and permissions for certain users.
Personal: Goals that belong to a specific user, not a team or the entire organization. These goals are most helpful to use when a single user is in charge of a goal, such as a personal development goal. Including collaborators or viewers on a Personal goal can be helpful if more than one user (but not an entire team) needs to work on a goal together.
Team: Goals associated with an entire Team. These goals are most helpful to use when there is a Goal that a whole Team needs to view or collaborate on. These goals will pull into meeting associated with that Team.
Organizational: Goals that the entire organization needs to work towards. These goals are most helpful to cast vision for the entire organization and will be visible to everyone in Leadr.
Goal Permissions
It's important to note that not everyone can perform any action on any Goal. The charts below describe the actions that each user type can perform on each goal type.
Note: Regardless of user type, if any user is a viewer on a Goal, they can view the Goal. Any user that is a collaborator on a Goal can edit and update the status of the Goal. Admins and Executives will automatically be added to public goals as viewers. Secondary managers will not automatically be added as viewers to their downline's Goals.
