Personality Types

Do you ever struggle with communicating effectively, especially within your organization? Or, do you want to learn more about how to be a present and thoughtful coworker? Well, look no further, because your Leadr profile is here to help! Filling out, updating, and viewing others' profiles and personality types is a great first step in effective communication.

Getting Started

Update Personality Types

You can access your Profile settings on the bottom left corner of your Leadr page

Once you have made it to your Profile settings, you will be able to add your Personality Types to your profile!

Filling out this section is a great way for you and your colleagues to learn more about how you communicate, your strengths, top attribute as well as lowest, and how you prefer to be led. Becoming more self-aware is essential for growth, so leveraging these tests as a tool is a great step forward!

Meetings

During a 1:1, your profile will appear for the participant you are meeting with, on the right-hand side. Likewise, within your own meeting, you will see the profile card of the person you’re meeting with.

You can prepare for your meetings by viewing the Personality Type's of the participant you are meeting with. There will be tips for how this people communicates and receives direction, as well as fun things like their favorite food or snack. How cool would it be to already know this person needs a little extra attention when communicating negative feedback? Or, how great would it be to be able to prepare for upcoming projects by assigning tasks that complement the employee's strengths?

Apart from Personality Tests, the Profile tab offers even more information. See this article on how to set up your profile or "baseball card" as we like to refer to it.

Below is a brief snapshot of the Personality Tests preloaded into Leadr.

Note, that some Organizations may choose to enable, disable, or add different types of tests. If one test is missing from your Profile, it's likely the tests that are loaded align better with your organization's mission or core values.
