Using Recognition in Leadr

How great would it be if you had software that could make it easy to share recognition with your team to deliver the positive feedback they're looking for?

Great news. This is now possible inside Leadr!

The new recognition module can make it easy to highlight team members, groups, or departments who are going above and beyond. You'll be able to view recognition across the whole organization or filter by your direct reports, department, user groups, and more for a simple way to recall team wins.

Overview

Recognition will be a system for users to be able to congratulate, recognize, and shout out great things they see happening across their organization in a public way.

You may be wondering, "How can I set up recognition?"

Well, wonder no more! Here is how

  1. To start a recognition post, navigate to the recognition tab on your Leadr profile.

  1. Once in the recognition tab, you will see all recognition that the members of your organization have posted! You can choose between the time, department, or groups to filter between specific posts.

  1. To post a recognition, navigate to the top right corner of the recognition tab to the + New Recognition

  1. When creating a recognition, you will want first to select the person(s) to recognize. You can use the down arrow to the right of the Select People field.

You can add more than one person to recognize a group project or a group achievement!

  1. Next, write your encouragement for all your peers to see, then celebrate that win together!
  2. If you need to, you can edit a recognition you have made by going to the three dots in the upper right corner of the post. This is also where you can delete a published recognition.

Other Recognition Details!

Admins can delete the recognition if a user posts something inconsistent with your organization's culture.

A recognition feed will be available on the recognition page and can be filtered based on certain criteria. Recognition posts created that day will have a blue dot to signify that it is new. Users can search this feed by recipients only using the search bar at the top of the page.

A recognition feed will also be available on Leadr Home, showing the most recent five posts that will open the details modal when clicked. There will also be a “view all” link to take users to the recognition page.
