Create Learning Templates

Adding content to your Leadr Library is a great tool to save files you might want to use later on.

Currently, the content you add to your Leadr Library needs to be hosted somewhere else, such as Youtube or Google Drive, but you can create a Template with this link for your Leadr Library to easily access this content.

Once content is added to the Library, it is available for anyone to view or assign to others. If your organization has content that you use for training or other purposes, you can add it to your Leadr Library!

Steps on how to Add Content

1. Click on the Learning tab on the left panel of the Leadr screen

2. Next, you can click on the Library button in the upper right.

Here you will find content from two databases, the first is the content that Your Organization has created. Once you have created templates in the Leadr Library, your content can be found here. The second tab will be Curated by Leadr or Curated by Pat Lencioni, depending on if you have access to Pat Lencioni's content via the Leadr Advantage.

3. The next step is to locate the + Add New Template button at the bottom of your organization's database (see image below)

4. Once you navigate to the + Add New Template button, you will be prompted to Add a New Template with the content you would like to add to Your Organization database.

You will be prompted to create either a Single Learning or a Learning Playlist.

A Single Learning is good for a quick video assignment you want to keep handy, while a Learning Playlist is good for a group of content you want to keep together and send out. Examples of a Learning Playlist would be Onboarding content, New hire videos, Road to management training, etc.

Whether you choose a Single Learning or a Learning Playlist, the following steps apply the same way.

5. Your first step in adding content is to Paste the link to the content you want to upload. This will be an external link, so any link that is hosted somewhere else (youtube, google drive, etc.), currently there is not a way to add content that is already downloaded on your device.

6. After adding your Link, there may be a title that auto-populates, but if not, go ahead and add a title for your Template.

You will have the option to set up questions for your template, but it is not required.

7. Next, add at least one question per resource in your Template, then save that question.

8. Lastly, select a category for your Template to easily locate this within Your Organization database.

9. Once you have finished creating your Template, click Save Template in the lower left corner and your content will be saved and ready to assign to users now or in the future.
