At Leadr, we recognize that artificial intelligence (AI) is a rapidly emerging technology, and as a valued Leadr customer, you may have questions about our AI-powered products and features launching in 2024.

In this article, we outline our security and privacy practices regarding AI. As our methods and technologies advance, we remain committed to keeping you informed with full transparency.

AI Technologies Used in Leadr

Leadr partners with OpenAI as a third-party service provider, and may partner with other providers in the future. However, we do not share any of our internal data or customer information with them for model training or development. Since no customer data is sent for training, there is no risk of your information being mixed with other data in the model.

The following table lists the AI technology providers used for each Leadr AI-powered feature.

Model Training

Leadr’s use of AI is limited to interacting with the provider's public models based on specific prompts. We are not involved in creating, developing, or training any large language models (LLMs) or generative AI. As a result, no AI model is being trained using our customers' data across the platform, nor is there training of models that run across all of our customers’ data.

Privacy and Security of AI Systems

Leadr has established agreements with all of our service providers, including those supplying AI systems, requiring them to uphold strict privacy and security standards. For instance, OpenAI has publicly committed that they will not use data submitted through their API for training purposes unless a customer explicitly opts in. Leadr has not opted in, and will not do so.

When you interact with OpenAI through Leadr, only the content you generate is processed by the model. Since Leadr does not own or operate an "AI engine," no data is shared with such a system.

Opting In and Out of AI-Powered Features

You can choose if and when you want to make use of Leadr’s AI-powered features. Admin users in Leadr can opt in and out of specific AI-powered features in Settings > Admin settings. 

Leadr’s AI features are off by default and organizations must opt-in to enable them.

Data Security and Privacy

Leadr upholds rigorous data security and privacy standards in line with our SOC2 certification. Specifically, for our AI-powered features, all requests to third-party service providers are processed through a unified internal application programming interface (API). This allows us to enforce the necessary security and privacy measures for every interaction, ensuring your data remains protected.

Data Collection

Leadr may track and capture certain aspects of your interactions with our AI features for analytical purposes. This data is stored and accessed in compliance with our existing data security and privacy policies.
