Post Meeting Analysis Zoom Integration

If your organization hosts meetings in Zoom and uses our Post Meeting Analysis feature to summarize your meetings, there are a few steps you will have to take to ensure that your Zoom integration works properly with our Leadr Notetaker bot that transcribes the meetings.

All calendar-integrated meetings with Zoom conferencing credentials attached will automatically schedule a Leadr Notetaker meeting bot to join the meeting at the scheduled time of the meeting’s start, however, several steps must be taken for the bots to join and transcribe your meetings successfully.

1.) Your Zoom organization admin must approve the Leadr Notetaker Zoom App from the Zoom App Marketplace. Please ask your organization’s Zoom admin to add the Leadr Notetaker app to your Zoom organization’s approved apps.

2.) The host of the meeting must give the Leadr Notetaker bot permission to record the meeting - this is required for the bot to be able to access the meeting transcript. If a meeting is part of a regularly scheduled series, the host of the meeting can also opt to grant recording permission to the bot for all future instances of the meeting.

To remove the bot from a meeting, simply go to the list of participants, find Leadr Notetaker, open the “More” menu that becomes available when you hover over the name, and click “Remove”.

Usage

How is the data collected by this Zoom integration used?

The Leadr Notetaker app accesses the text transcription collected by zoom and then sends the text transcript to a Large Language Model (LLM) to summarize the content of the meeting. During this process, your data is shared securely with a third party AI platform, but none of your data is used to train their models or is retained by the third party.
